Karen L. Williamson, 70, of Bangor, MI passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at her home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Heritage Chapel & Cremation Services, 8747 US 31 Berrien Springs with Pastor Derek Cromwell officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in Niles, MI. Friends may visit from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Funeral Home. Karen was born July 31, 1946 in Erie, PA to Earl & Helen (Delporto) Adams. She graduated from Academy High School in Erie, PA. On May 30, 1965 she married George Williamson in Ft. Sheridan, IL. Karen worked as a cook for Lake Michigan College. Most of all she loved being home taking care of her family. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening and fishing.
Karen is survived by her husband George Williamson; daughter Donna Williamson; siblings Pam (Joseph) Holden Sr., Tom (Fiancée Tammy) Adams, David (Rose) Adams Sr., James Adams and Robert Adams; and sister-in-law Karen Adams. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard Adams, and sister-in-law Dana Adams.
