Mrs. Georgia (Roseburgh-Alexander) Richmond, 79 of Benton Harbor, MI. died peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo MI.
Georgia was born on June 18, 1937 in Egypt, MS. to late William Henry (Doc) Roseburgh and Lizzy Mae Hughes. Georgia leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Willis Richmond, two daughters, Mildred and Debra, three sons Leroy, Rodney (Carol Renee) Alexander all of Benton Harbor and Dennis Alexander from Westland MI. One sister Annie Lenzy. Georgia had 28 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 2 great- great grandchildren, a special niece and Godchild Bernice Wright-Muhammad and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Georgia is preceded in death by her Parents and her grandparents and daughter Joyce Hartfield. Georgia will be missed by many. She loved flowers and meeting people and she loved her family.
Visitation will be held March 28, 2017 at 11:00 and the service will be at 12:00 at Beautiful Gate Baptist 809 Territorial Road Benton Harbor Michigan. 49022
