Louis Wake Hudson of Snellville, Georgia was born on February 28, 1954 to Johnnie and Nannie Hudson . Louis Transitioned from this life to the next on March 15 , 2017. Louis enjoyed traveling and a good steak . Louis was an inspiration and teacher of life and love to many . He taught many to dance and fight . He did not “ retreat “ only advanced hard . Louis was a talented athlete and played many sports . He excelled in swimming , bowling and even track as a state finalist in Michigan Special Olympics . He enjoyed life , with all its twists and turns . He gave his love unconditionally .
Louis was born with Down Syndrome and was only supposed to live till he was 20 years old . He overcame the odds and surpassed all expectations and set new standards for those with Down syndrome . at the time of his passing Louis was 63 years old .
Louis was a solid , source of reticent strength . He was a true solider in this war we call “ life “. Where most would have admitted defeat and surrendered Louis battled on against all odds until God said “ Rest my child and come home “ . Often we let the loss of a loved one become our main focus ; letting sorrow run ranpant . Now we should remember only the good and most significantly that Louis does not need to endure more pain and suffering .
Louis is lovingly remembered by his brothers, Dr. Paul Hudson of Springfiels , Illinois , Samuel Hudson of Benton Harbor , Michigan , Steven Hudson ( Cindy ) of Hampton , Virginia . His sisters , Nora Hudson of Detroit , Michigan , Mary (Ivery) Davis of Snellville , Georgia. Rovelma Hudson Honolulu , Hawii . His special sister / cousin Charlene Hudson of Atlanta , Georgia . His cherished nieces Morgan Hudson –Davis , Chelsea Bailey and Johnathon Hester , uncles Edward (Rosie ) Hudson , Willie ( Lilly Mae) Hudson , Calvin ( Gloria) Hudson , aunt Dorothy Hudson , and numerous cousins , relatives and friends .
Louis was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Nannie Hudson and his beloved nephew Wellington Ivery Davis .
