Suzanne Edith Low

Suzanne E. Low, 73, of Niles passed away May 16, 2018 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo.

Susie was born to the late John F. and Edna M. (Lidke) Stowe on September 4, 1944 in Niles, Michigan.

After graduating from Niles High School in 1962 Susie went on to marry Gary Low at the First Presbyterian Church in Niles, Michigan on March 26, 1965.

Susie was an accomplished seamstress and even had a group of ladies, otherwise known as, “Stitch” club she often spent time creating many different handmade pieces with.  While sewing was her main talent, Susie was very creative and successful at just about any craft she decided to take on. When the weather allowed she would spend time tending to her gardens.  She also was an avid reader, but if she had to choose her favorite pastime it would be spending time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren.  She spent many years taking care of her three boys, and also as an office manager for Greco Manufacturing.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary and her parents.

Susie will be missed by her sons; Steven (Teresa) Low of South Bend, Richard (Christy) Low, of Niles, and Christopher (Kelly) Low of Edwardsburg.  She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild on the way, and her sisters, Lorainne  (John) Sellers of Granger and Gayla (Will) Frasier of Niles.

Services for Susie will be Monday, May 21, 2018 at Brown Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with visitation two hours prior.
