Carol J. Litaker, 72, of Bainbridge Township, died Friday, May 18, 2018, at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph.
Services celebrating her life will be on Tuesday, May 22. Family and friends will gather at 1 PM at the Davidson Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Coloma and process to North Shore Memory Gardens for services. Carol was born on Feb. 8, 1946 in Benton Harbor to Clifford and Peggy (Brown) Johnson. She married Howard Litaker, Sr. and he preceded her in death in 2011. Carol was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her family. She loved going to the family sporting events. Carol also enjoyed gaming and bingo. She was a loving and very good mother to all her family.
Her family includes her children, Howard (Jody) Litaker of Berrien Springs, Tammy (Mike Long) Lynch of Benton Harbor, Vicki (Rodney) Pletz of Sister Lakes, and Charles Litaker of Benton Harbor; her brother, Larry Varney of Dowagiac, her 8 grandchildren and her 9 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded by her brother, Ricky Johnson.
