Larry Clymer

Larry H. Clymer, 62, of Niles, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, February 24, 2016, following a brief illness.

He was born on January 9, 1954 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to the late Harold and Ruth (Cochran) Clymer.

Larry received his degree in Respiratory Therapy and worked in that field for over 40 years, retiring a month ago. If Larry wasn’t working he could be found playing his guitar. He was a gifted, left-handed musician. On June 6, 1992 Larry married Karen Ann Lear at a ceremony in Columbus, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Larry is survived by his wife Karen A. Clymer of Niles, two sons, Jason Clymer of Columbus, Ohio and Shawn (Lauren) Clymer of Denver, Colorado, a step-daughter Stephanie (Scott) Cook of Sault Ste. Marie, five grandchildren, three brothers; Danny Clymer of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Randy Clymer of Columbus, Ohio and Tony (Ann) Clymer of Columbus, Ohio, four sisters; Judy Clymer of Zanesville, Ohio, Shirley Roberts of Zanesville, Ohio, Audrey (Ken) Rasmussen of Euclid Heights, Ohio, Nancy (Chris) Nash of Gainesville, Georgia as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Larry’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held by his family.
