
Mary Anna Knezic (nee Buchina), 77, of Stevensville, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016 at home.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 211 Church Street, St. Joseph with Father Robert Creagan officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, July 11, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Starks and Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd. St. Joseph, MI with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Mary was born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 15, 1938 to Andrew and Margaret (Sandor) Buchina. She married Stephen Knezic on May 19, 1962 in Pittsburgh, PA. Mary enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, jigsaw puzzles, sudoku and watching Food Network. Most of all she loved spending time with her beloved family, especially her grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her husband of 54 years, Stephen; two daughters Kristina Knezic and Danielle Knezic both of Stevensville; four sons Stephen Knezic of Berrien Springs, Jeffrey (Cathy) Knezic of Galien, MI, Timothy (Pamela) Knezic of Wausau, WI and David (Dawn) Knezic of Bridgman; six grandchildren Bryan and Justin Pearson, and Noah, Connor, Nicholas and Tessa Knezic and one sister, Dolores (James) Perino of Sewickley, PA. Her parents preceded her in death.
Burial will occur at a later date in Pittsburgh, PA.
