Leonard Weber, 83, of Sister Lakes passed away peacefully July 17, 2016 at his home. Leonard was born to the late Gustav and Hilda Weber on July 28, 1932 in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Leonard is a 1950 graduate of Benton Harbor High School. He spent 12 years in the military beginning in 1949 in the Navy Reserves and U.S. Air Force. He graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1960. On July 28, 1966 Leonard married his late wife Erika (Jahnke) Weber; they were married almost 50 years. Leonard was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and was by all things an excellent story teller. He is survived by his children, Erika (Robert) Parker, Derik Weber, Trina Swank, Shari Munro and Leonard P Weber II; six grandchildren, Leonard P Weber III, Alex Weber, Nick Swank, Zach Swank, Katie Swank and Colin Parker. Leonard is preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and sisters and his wife, Erika. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Home.
