Mary Margaret Pickens, 64, of Buchanan, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at her home.
Mary was born on December 31, 1951 to the late Jessie and Lillmon Nobles in Niles, MI. On August 30, 1975 she married Richard Pickens at a ceremony at Fulkerson Park Baptist Church, Niles. Mary graduated from Buchanan High School class of 1969.
Mary is survived by her husband of 41 years, Richard, Sr.; son, Richard Pickens, Jr.; “adopted daughters” and Nieces, Tracy Matlock and Stacy Draper; grandchildren, Krista Snyder, Carter Pickens and Michael Pickens and sister, Caroline (Bobby) Cantrell. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Joyce, Vivian, Wilma and Audrey.
Visitation for Mary will be held from 4-7 pm on Thursday, October 27, 2016, at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. A funeral service will follow at 7 pm with Pastor David Mitchell of Faith Victory Fellowship Church, Buchanan officiating.
