Roberta Ann Wakes, 63, of Clinton Twp, MI, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Beaumont Hospital in Troy, MI.
She was born October 23, 1953 to the union of Otis Sr. and Martha Wakes in Niles, MI. Her father, Otis Sr, preceded her in death. Roberta is survived by her mom, Martha Wakes; sons, David Patterson Jr., Tyren (Sunin) Patterson; daughter, Kiesha Patterson; brother, Otis Wakes Jr.; sisters, Gloria (Greggory) Williams, Diana Reed, Deborah Batson, Shirley Tipler, Denise Freeman, Sheila Jones; grandchildren, Kieyonna, James, Jochaun, Jamarius, Lasha, Izaiah, Stefen, Jazmine, David III, Amena, Zoe, Isaiah; great-grandchildren, Chaya and Camille.
Funeral Service for Roberta will be at 1 pm on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Mt. Zion C.O.G.I.C., Buchanan, with Pastor Hayes Taylor officiating.
Visitation for the family will be 11 am – 12 pm, family and friends will be welcome at 12 pm prior to the service on Saturday. Memorial donations may be made to Mt. Zion C.O.G.I.C., 1102 N. Red Bud Trail, Buchanan, MI 49107.
