William “Trey” Lomax III, 29, of Niles, passed away at Memorial Hospital in South Bend on Sunday, September 3, 2017.
Trey was born on February 14, 1988, to Donny and Jennifer in Camp Pendleton, California. After high school, Trey went on to become the Sales Manager for Auto Zone in Elkhart. Trey was known to help anyone with their vehicle and loved spending time playing music. Most of all, Trey loved his time with his children and family. He spent all of his free time with his children, even when he was fixing someone’s car Kami and Kain were usually right there with him.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Pete and Alma Henderson.
Trey is survived by his children, Kami and Kain Lomax; fiancé, Coreyann Henry of South Bend; parents, Jennifer (Steve) Minor of Niles and William “Donny” (Shelly) Lomax Jr. of Stafford, Virginia; paternal grandparents, William Sr. and Doris Lomax of Jacksonville, North Carolina; sister, Mandi Lomax of Kalamazoo; nephew, Oliver Luckett; and many extended family members and close friends.
A memorial service to honor Trey’s life will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Brown Funeral Home at 12:00 noon with a time of visitation two hours prior.
