Betty Jane Statler, 93, of Buchanan, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph.
She was born March 9, 1924 in Buchanan, to Kingston and Mable Rousselle. On June 26, 1971, Betty married Robert Alonzo Statler at a ceremony in Buchanan until he preceded her in February 2010. Betty is survived by her children, Joan Bicard, Peggy (Buddy) Adams, Bobby Statler; grandchildren, Terri (Mark) Eger, Michael (Anita) Bicard, Heather (William) Gletty, Nicole (Michael) Aurenz, Jeremy Statler, Samantha (Joe) Neighbors; great-grandchildren, Torrie Eger, Alex Eger, Adam Eger, Candi Bessey, Baylee Bicard, Jamee Bicard, Sarah Gletty, Emily Gletty, Ave Aurenz, Kinsley Aurenz, Duke Aurenz, Kelsey Statler, Karissa Statler, Aleigha Statler, Jack Neighbors, Liam Neighbors, Abi Neighbors; and great-great granddaughter, Macenna Bessey. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents, Kingston and Mable; son-in-law, Steve Bicard; grandson, James Bicard; and granddaughter, Sarah Adams.
A funeral service for Betty will be at 11 am on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Hoven Funeral Home, Inc.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at a later date at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan.
