Stephen “Polock” Zandarski Jr. 69, died on November 17 at his home in Benton Harbor.
Friends and family are encouraged to a visitation celebrating his life at the Florin Funeral Services, 1053 E. Napier, Benton Township on Tuesday, November 21 from 6 to 8 PM. A prayer service will occur at 5:30 pm for close friends and family with Fr. Ben Huynh of St. Johns Catholic church officiating.
Steve was born May 4, 1948 in Benton Harbor to Stephen Zandarski Sr. and Ruth Freyer Zandarski. He spent all his life working as a machinist in Southwest Michigan where he retired. Steve was a member of the American Legion Post 105, and the Moose Lodge 1570. Drinking, fishing and hunting, playing the lottery and spending time with his children and grandchildren were his favorite things to do. He enjoyed vegetable gardening and cooking.
Steve is survived by his children Emily Zandarski , Stephen Zandarski lll, , grandchildren Brittany, Ava, and great granddaughter Nadia; sister Suzanne Zandarski.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Sharron Pham and his good friend Mike Nocera.
