Beatrice Johnson

Beatrice Johnson was called home April 20, 2018. She was born January 15, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi unto Buck McClacker and Lizzie Dudley.
Beatrice graduated high school in Tupelo, MS and later moved to Benton Harbor, MI in 1955. She confessed her life to Christ at an early age and later joined Church of Christ on East Main Street in Benton Harbor, MI. We will remember her as being a beautiful, kind, caring and loving person. Speaking her mind as we all as being outgoing, and funny is what most know Beatrice for. Beatrice loved her family and was a homemaker to those she cared about most. Because she loved traveling, she would pop up on you without you knowing she was coming, which we all loved. Beatrice was an amazing cook, and a feisty little woman, she was a ray of light everywhere she went. Ms. Bee is what everyone called her, and she always went above and beyond to help her loved ones. Dressing up, looking nice, and wearing her bracelets was her passion and we can’t forget just how great of an all-around amazing person Beatrice was.

Beatrice leaves behind three sons: Terry Spencer, Holden (Rose) Harris, and Jeffrey Harris of Benton Harbor, MI; Three daughters: Brenda Davis of Benton Harbor, MI; Theresa Harris of Kalamazoo, MI; and Kaye Harris-Griffin of Dallas, TX.
