Nikki Renee Jackson, 50 of Benton Harbor, MI departed this life on August 17, 2018, at Lakeland Medical Center, St. Joseph, MI.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 24, 2018, at Second Baptist Church 600 Donald Atkins Dr. Benton Harbor, MI with visitation at 10:00 am and service to follow at 11:00 am. Rev. Darwin Johnson, officiating. Burial will be at Crystal Spring Cemetery. Final arrangements entrusted to Robbins Brothers Funeral Home.
In life we have pleasures with our loved ones; we have sorrow and joy but thank God for the memories death cannot destroy. Again death has invaded the ranks of the Washington and Jackson family carrying away our beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, cousin, niece, and friend Nikki Renee Jackson.
Nikki was born July 6, 1968, in Benton Harbor, MI to the union Sylvia Jackson and the late Bobby Lee Jackson Sr.
Nikki loved playing cards, working and enjoyed playing with her grandchildren. Nikki had a special love for her family and enjoyed hosting family gatherings. She always found ways to enjoy life regardless of life circumstances and was willing to help anyone in need. Nikki was employed by Batson Printing INC. for many years.
Precious memories remain in her Son Xaiver Jackson Sr.; her mother Sylvia Tibbs; (9) grandchildren Adonis Jackson, Xavier Jackson Jr., Zion Rudley, Legacy Williams, Elijah Wilson, Ariana Ellis, Victory Jones, Neveah Williams, and Jamarion Jackson; 1 brother Joseph Jackson; 1 sister Monique Coleman; 4 step-sisters –Queenesther Jackson, Bertha Sims and Trudy Sims Gloria Taylor; 4 step brothers Rodger Tibbs, Doyle Webb, Dale Webb, and Willie Webb; God-brother Dennis Fells; 3 special cousins- Monique Shurns, Akeeva Washington, and Linda Palmer; a long time friend- Craig Shivers and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Bobby Jackson Sr.; brother Bobby Jackson Jr.; stepfather Willie Tibbs and her grandparents Willie Sr. and Elvie Washington.
