Reginard S. Gill

Reginard S. Gill, 89, of Benton Township died on Monday, January 17, at the Pine Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln Township.

Services celebrating his life will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 26, at the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Benton Township. Burial will take place on Thursday at the Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI. The visitation will begin at 10 AM until service time on Wednesday. Reginard was born on December 18, 1932 in Benton Harbor to John and Estelle Gill, Sr. After graduating from high school Reginard joined the US Navy for 3 years. When he got out of the service he then worked for Michigan Bell for 3 years. Reginard then decided to reenlist in the US Navy and continued for the next 17 year. Making him a 20 year veteran of the US Navy. After discharge he was employed at Benedix for 7 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #410.

His family includes his daughters, Toni Pearson of Benton Harbor, Regina Cook of Lithonia, GA, Veronica Gill of Niles, and Linda Robinson of Lithonia, GA; his son, Reinaldo Tripplett of Benton Harbor and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John.
