Charles Wayne Allen

Charles “Wayne” Allen was born December 7th, 1956, in Tupelo, Mississippi to the late Frank & Violet Allen. At the age of 4, the family moved to Benton Harbor, Michigan where he grew up. He attended Benton Harbor High School. Wayne, as he is known to family & friends, loved art & driving nice cars. He also had a passion for fashion. He loved his children, grandchildren, & spending time with family. He passed away peacefully at his home on April 13th, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Violet Allen, his son Charles “Dink” Allen, his brothers Frank Allen Jr, Willie “Shot” Allen, Jessie Allen, Robert Allen, Bobby Allen, John Earl Allen, and his sister Julie Brown.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Tadesa Allen of Granger, IN; his children: Stacey (Rebecca) Branscumb & Jonathan Allen of Benton Harbor, MI; Ronnie Littles, TeMarcus Littles, YeVette Watkins, Mylissa Logan & Joi Allen of Lawrenceville, GA, Danyelle Littles of Las Vegas, NV, and Brionna Moore of Granger, IN; his siblings: Violet Jean (Charlie- deceased) Barnes of Saltillo, MS, Rommie (Debra) Allen of Joliet, IL, Martha (Lawrence) Malone of Newport News, VA, Mary (Larry) Malone of High Point, NC, Annie (Bennie) Horton of Benton Harbor, MI, and Emma Trailor; 26 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Robbins Brothers Funeral Home, Benton Harbor.
