Patrik Douglas Madden, Sr. (AKA: Indian Boy) was born to James D. Madden, Jr., and Heleana Madden on March 10th, 1979, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Patrik attended Benton Harbor High School. Patrik married Shannon (Gunn) in 1998. Patrik always had a job, and he was a hard worker. Patrik always worked around food. He had a passion for cooking and enjoyed serving people with a smile. His first job was Mr. G’s BBQ. He was then employed at Popeye’s for many years and was promoted to manager. While working at Popeye’s, he was also worked for Quiznos and advanced to Manager in no time. Patrik also served as a manager for Holiday Inn Express and Family Dollar. In 2017, Patrik became employed at Tyson Foods until his earthly departure as an inspector. Patrik was known for his work ethics; his leadership and he was very meticulous. Patrick fulfilled his dream in 2013; he managed his own music company “Indian Boy Entertainment, LLC”. He managed Jamelia “Jasper” Long, a rap artist, Keymah “Kyez” Shepard and many other artists.
Through Patrik’s blessings, he donated back to school supplies, he passed out thanksgiving baskets yearly, and he helped other organizations along the way. In 2014, Patrik joined and became a Master Mason of New Bethel and Masons of Benton Harbor, MI. Patrik loved his children, his mother, his siblings and didn’t miss a family event. Patrik was always the first to arrive and the last to leave, he was the life of the party. Patrik was definitely flamboyant, he dressed from head to toe, and he loved his jewelry and his glasses. He had a style of his own. His energy gravitated people towards him, he was a people person.
Patrik Douglas Madden, Sr., 44, Pine Bluff, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, March 21st, at CHI St. Vincent North Hospital in Sherwood, Arkansas. He was surrounded by Family.
He was preceded in death by his father James D. Madden, Jr. {Chubby} (January 8th, 1997) his grandfather, James D. Madden, Sr. (January 3rd, 1997) his grandmother, Almeda P. Madden (April 4th, 1979) Uncle James D. Madden, Jr. (October 31st, 2020) Aunt Gloria Madden-West (December 5th, 1981) and his fiancé’, Evangelina Jefferson (July 4th, 2012).
Patrik leaves to cherish his memory, his Mother, Heleana Madden; six beautiful children, Patrik Madden, Jr., Chauncey Jefferson, James Madden, Omari Jackson, Isaiah Jefferson, Ashanti (Matt) Trowbridge, Chileana Davis and Chenoa Madden; two bonus sons, Deantae Cooper and Ayden Alexander his brothers, Jason Madden, Christoper Walker and Bryant Walker; his sister,: Chikita (Paul) Davis, Makeisha Patrick and Amy Robinson; two lifetime brothers, Anthony “George” Harvell and Garland “Kink” Echols. Patrik loved his uncles, Fred D. Madden, Sr. and Samuel J. Madden, Sr. and his aunt Margaret H. Boxx. Patrik had a special relationship with Rose Wright. Patrik had a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, uncles, and aunts.
