Sigrid Kietzer, 73, of Baroda passed away, Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at A Place Called Home in Stevensville.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 P.M., Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Pastor Scott Reeve officiating. Burial will take place at Ruggles Cemetery at a later date. Friends may visit from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M., Sunday at the funeral home. Sigrid was born July 25, 1949 in Wolfsburg, Germany to Ferdinand & Wilhelmine (Banik). She graduated from Lakeshore High School. On June 27, 1970 she married Victor Kietzer at Clay Street Baptist Church in Benton Harbor. Sigrid was an office administrator for Farm Bureau Insurance for many years. Sigrid enjoyed tending to her flower garden, reading, and doing arts and crafts.
Sigrid is survived by her husband Victor Kietzer; sons Michael (Ratnawati) Kietzer and Cory Kietzer; grandchildren Angelina & Allen Kietzer and siblings Meta (Klaus) Seltman and Tabea Faatz.
