Ronny Lee Kurasz (79) of Grand Junction, Michigan passed away peaceably March 23, 2024 at Douglas Cove Health and Rehabilitation in Douglas Michigan. She was born on April 20, 1944 in Chicago Illinois.
She is survived by her brother Gregg and his wife Rae Kurasz of Arlington, Virginia, several cousins, and many good friends.
Ronny is preceded in death by her mother Marjorie Marie Kurasz (Randall) and her father John Kurasz.
Ronny was born in Chicago and moved to Grand Junction, Michigan on Saddle Lake with her family in 1956. She attended Grand Junction School and graduated from Bangor High School in 1961. She served in the U.S Army and then moved to Chicago where she had a long career at Rush Presbyterian St. Lukes Medical Center serving as the administrator of the operating rooms. When she retired, she moved back to Saddle Lake and became a long serving volunteer at Rescued Treasures in South Haven where she collected a lot of friends. For a few years, Ronny lived in South Haven and loved to walk to and from the Lighthouse and often referred to it as her lighthouse.
