Norma Hasse, 93, of Eau Claire, MI passed away Monday, May 13, 2024, at the West Woods of Niles.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, May 17, 2024, at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 3713 Naomi Rd., Sodus, MI with pastor Robert Duehlmeyer Jr., officiating. Burial will follow at Shanghai Cemetery in Eau Claire. Friends may visit from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M, Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Ev. Norma was born January 20, 1931, in Benton Harbor, MI to William & Edna (Hedrich) King. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1949. On September 15, 1951, she married Herbert Hasse in Bridgman, MI. Norma worked for VM Corporation and was Deputy Clerk for Pipestone Township for many years. Norma was also involved with Ladies aid at church and enjoyed flower gardening, yardwork, and bird watching.
Norma is survived by her sons Kevin (Ellen) Hasse and Mark Hasse; grandchildren Jeremy (Sarah) Hasse and Michelle (Zachery) Richmond; and great grandchildren Elizabeth Hasse, Jonah Hasse and Jackson Richmond.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings William & Lillian.
