Ronald Joseph White Jr, 59, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024 in Mishawaka, Indiana.

Ron was born on February 7, 1965 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Ronald Joseph White Sr. and Janet (Cooper) White.

Along with his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny White.

Left to cherish the memory of Ron is his loving wife of 32 years, Beverly (Dina) White; children, Mirriya (Jonathan) Hinkle, Erica White, Joshua (Shannon) Sinclair, Katelynn (Patrick) White, and Faith (Isaiah) Kelly; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, and brother, Michael (Holly) White.

Ron enjoyed many outdoorsman hobbies including hunting, fishing, and fly tying and shared many of these skills with his family over the years. He also enjoyed beekeeping, shelling and rockhounding. Ron also loved to search for deals and shop, whether it be for early morning Black Friday deals or bargain shopping for Operation Christmas Child with his wife.

Ron White was known for his quick wit and elaborate pranks. He had many interests including cars, boats, and gunsmithing. Ron loved wildlife and enjoyed being outdoors so he could take in the beauty of God’s creation. Ron was a brilliant man who enjoyed reading and researching, and he was always willing to try something new.

Ron was a dedicated Christian, father, worker, and mentor. He did everything to the absolute best of his ability, with close attention to detail. Being a person who sought out facts and truth in every aspect of his life, it’s no surprise that it carried over into his beliefs. Ron had an ever present, unassuming, and approachable faith. He gave generously to all. He loved his family deeply, provided abundantly, and persevered through the myriads of challenges that came with raising his children. In his work, he labored diligently as a strong man of high standards, ethics and morals.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations go towards a sidewalk “In Memory of Ron” for the Alzheimer’s unit at Riveridge nursing home. They can be made out to Slege Construction with “Make a Walkway” on the memo line.

A Memorial Service for Ron will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 3:00pm at First Church of Christ, 2240 Yankee St. Niles, MI 49120.
