Gary graduated from Blissfield High School and received an Associates Degree from Owens Community College in Toledo, Ohio. He worked in the automotive industry as a Controls Engineer for Adient Manufacturing of Toledo. Gary loved kayaking, flying, and baseball – following the Cincinnati Reds and Detroit Tigers.
Gary is survived by his parents, Corbie and Mary Wells; bonus mom Barb McHenry, of Blissfield, Michigan; children Isaac Wells, Angelina Wells, and Piper Wells all of Adrian, Michigan; brother Kenny (Julie) Wells of Virginia Beach, Virginia; nieces Jane Busa, Maddalyn Wells; and nephews Chauncey Wells and Kenneth Wells; and numerous cousins.
Visitation for Gary will be held Friday, July 5, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 12 p.m. at the Filbrandt Chapel Funeral Home, 1076 S. Bailey Ave, South Haven, Michigan 49090. Deacon John Lohrstorfer will officiate. Gary will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery in South Haven.
