Willie Lou Emery Mason, 91, of Paw Paw, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday August 15, 2024, at Blueberry Hill Assisted Living in Lawton.
She was born August 2, 1933, in Phil Campbell, Alabama, the daughter of Willie C. Burgett and Millie (O’Terry) Tyra.
Willie was a woman of deep faith and attended Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Decatur. Above all else, Willie cherished her title of “Mom” to her seven daughters.
On March 20, 1952, Willie married Cecil F. Warren Emery in Carethersville, Missouri, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Patterson of Paw Paw, MI, Jeannie (John) Patterson of Vero Beach, FL, Paulette Emery-Gamblin of Doniphan, MO, Sherri (Danny) Littrell of Doniphan, MO, Melody (Michael) Anderson of Lawton, MI and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Willie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Cecil and daughters, Rhonda (Bill) Montgomery and Terry Paula Emery.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lawton on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jack Midkiff officiating.
