
Raynett Gene Langley (Minnie Mouse) 54 of Benton Harbor, MI went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Lakeland of St. Joseph, MI.
She was born April 1, 1970, in Orlando, FL the daughter of the late Costella “Helen” Green and Ray Gene Langley.
Minnie Mouse was a member of Zion Church of God In Christ where she was baptized at a young age. Minnie Mouse with the Benton Harbor High School Class of 1989.
Minnie Mouse worked for Benton Harbor Area Schools for many years as a crossing guard and lunchroom supervisor. Minnie Mouse was known as the “candy lady” and it all started in Vineyard Projects.
As time went on, she opened her daycare from home, then later started working for “The Blessed Noah’s Ark” daycare and learning center.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Dianthony (Vanita” Mays and Isaiah Porter; one daughter, On’Jnaee Porter; twevele grandchildren, Dizani, Dianthony, Di’Onna, Deontraye, Dy’Lan, Demetrius, A’Marie, Miley, Italy, Isaiah Jr., Peyton, Daloni, and Ella Mae; two sisters, Priscilla, Brasher, and Shirlene; Goddaughter, Taleeyia Hordan; bestfriend, Nikki Bobo; close friend, Natasha Williams and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roland Baker; three aunts, Dorothy Green, Ura Green, and Oreatha Reed; one uncle, Wash Green.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Robbins Brothers Funeral Home, Benton Harbor.
