
Larry Douglas Ringler, 75, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025 in South Bend, Indiana.
Larry was born on January 23, 1950 in Niles, Michigan to the late Russel E. Ringler and Dorothy (Armstrong) Ringler.
Left to cherish the memory of Larry is his loving wife of many years, Sandra (Ratajczak) Ringler and siblings, James (Jane) Ringler, Michael (Debi) Ringler, and Ernest Ringler.
Larry was a kind and compassionate man with a huge heart and an even greater love for life and the people around him. He never knew a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand, offering kindness, support, and friendship to anyone who crossed his path. His warm smile and great sense of humor made others feel welcome and at ease.
Larry had a deep appreciation for the world around him. He enjoyed spending time in nature, bird watching, and studying astronomy, often finding wonder in both the skies above and the beauty of the earth below. He had a passion for family genealogy, horses, and collected butterflies, interests that reflected his curiosity and love of learning. He also enjoyed playing pool and sharing laughter with friends.
Above all else, Larry deeply loved his wife, Sandra, who was the center of his world. Larry will be remembered as a wonderful man whose generosity, curiosity, and gentle spirit touched countless lives. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
In keeping with Larry’s wishes, there will be no services held at this time.
