
Edward Green, 55, of Vandalia, died peacefully Thursday, May 7, 2026 in the comfort of his family’s presence.
His life began February 9, 1971 in Tokyo, Japan the first of three born to Bruce and Yoshiko Green.
Eddy graduated from Ross Beatty High School in 1989, having played baseball and football. Eddy was an avid guitar player and loved music. He worked many years and was a well-liked cook at Kulesia’s Restaurant in Vandalia. He attended Ferris State University and received his Associates degree from Southwestern Michigan College in Dowagiac. Eddy worked for Schneider Trucking, J&S Oil Company and later owned his own business E&O Trucking. He could often be found watching sports on TV and enjoyed going to Notre Dame football games with his Dad. He especially enjoyed spending time with his nephew, Oliver and niece, Sydney, attending many of their activities.
Eddy will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by parents, Bruce and Yoshiko Green of Vandalia, one sister, Natalie (Brian) Amos of Mishawaka; one brother, Tom Green of Vandalia; nephew, Oliver Amos and niece Sydney Amos. He was preceded in death by grandparents, William and Joyce Green and Tomio and Kimiko Okada.
Family and friends will gather Friday, May 15, 2026 from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. in Wagner Family Funerals Connelly Chapel, 202 North Broadway Street, Cassopolis. Eddy will be laid to rest in Birch Lake Cemetery.
