Alice Noskey passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026 with her daughters by her side. Her son was unable to be there physically, but in heart he was right there by her side. While Alice truly believed she would die of a heart attack as so many in her family did, cancer came into her life in November. While she wanted so bad to fight, the cancer was just too hard on her.
Alice was the only daughter born to George and Dorothy Bartholomew on January 12, 1953. Alice worked for many years at Controlled Rubber. When they closed, she went back to college and began working at Bloomingdale Communications, retiring in 2018. She loved playing games on her IPad and phone, spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her best friend and Amigo. From Florida to the Upper Peninsula, she enjoyed her time spent away from home, but her true happy place was at home with her son, her dog “Purple” and her cat “Ari”. She made sure to make one last trip to the Casino before heading to Florida for the yearly family vacation in March. Alice was a member of the Van Buren County Victim Services Unit for many years helping loved one’s cope with the loss of family members and providing resources to them.
Alice is survived by her children, Mike, JOBINA and Amy; grandchildren, Dominique, Adrianna, Rakiah, Aalysiah, Jasmine, Ayden, Jakobe, Grayson and Isiah and many great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Doreen and nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her best friend of 52 years, Tammy Vigansky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Bill and David and many aunts and uncles.
Memorial Services will be held at the American Legion Post 49 in South Haven, MI on Sunday, June 7 at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking everyone to bring their favorite dish to pass. As everyone knows Alice loved a good wedding or funeral meal.
