Mary Dewey Baker, 101, of Coloma, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026 at Hanson Hospice Center.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Bridgman.
Mary was born March 3, 1925 in Traverse City, Michigan to Michael and Anna Mikowski. Her family moved to SW Michigan in 1939. She had formerly worked at VM Corporation and later at Jordan’s Nursing Home in Bridgman. Mary loved to spend her winters with Rex in Florida. She greatly appreciated the care she received from the staff while residing at Westwood of Bridgman Nursing Home.
Mary is survived by her sister Katherine Davis of Coloma, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Walter Dewey, her second husband Rex Baker; sons Michael Dewey and Douglas Dewey; two brothers and five sisters.
