Cynthia Ann Forrest, 67, of South Haven, Michigan died on Friday, May 13, 2016, at her home. She was born February 21, 1949 in Springfield, Illinois to Herb and Ellen (Clark) Barnard. Cynthia married Ken Forrest on April 4, 1970 in South Haven, Michigan. Cynthia worked as a seamstress at Hale’s Department Store for 12 years. She also worked at Four Star Manufacturing and Pullman Industries. Cynthia loved sewing, crafts, and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Cynthia is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ken. Two sons – Sam (Valerie) Forrest of Albuquerque , New Mexico; and Matthew (June) Forrest of South Haven, Michigan, eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one sister, Pam (Terry) Blakeman of Benton Harbor, Michigan.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 17, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at The Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM with Reverend Father German Perez-Diaz officiating. She will be laid to rest at McDowell Cemetery in Casco Township.
