
Mark Allen Rose, 59, of Baroda, Michigan passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Hanson Hospice Center.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 24, 2016 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Friends may visit from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the funeral home. Mark was born June 4, 1957 in Benton Harbor, MI to Leona and Nick Jr Rose. He graduated in 1975 from St. Joseph High School. After 38 years of service at Gast manufacturing in Benton Harbor, MI as a machinist, he retired in 2015. He had a big heart and willing to help friends and family when in need.
In his free time he enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren in their sporting events, spending time with family, hunting for morel mushrooms, perch fishing and golfing.
Mark is survived by his mother Leona Rose of St Joseph; children Ryan (Lisa) Rose of Gastonia, NC , Amber (Kevin) Snelling of Galien, MI, Kayla and Luke of Stevensville; siblings Nick (Patrice) III Rose of St Joseph, Linda (Ron) Silverlight of South Haven MI, Brian (Kathy) Rose of St. Joseph and Scott (Tammy) Rose of Stevensville; grandchildren Lacey Rose, Charlotte Rose and Paisley to arrive June 27,2016; Nieces/Nephews Nick (Jenny) IV Rose of Ann Arbor MI, Andrea Rose of San Francisco, CA, Sarah (Kyle McKamey) Hembree of South Haven, Nichole (Matt) Williams of Indianapolis IN, Brianna Rose of St Joseph, Bethany Rose of Harford MI, Stephanie (Ken) Jennings of Eau Claire, Tim Gaul of Fort Meyers FL; and special friend Julie Hart.
Mark was preceded in death by his father Nick Rose Jr and his nephew Brandon Silverlight.
