Elder Paul Herman McCoy Sr.

Elder Paul H. McCoy Sr., 75 of Kalamazoo, formerly of Benton Harbor departed this life on September 27, 2020, in Kalamazoo at home surrounded by family.

Paul was born May 8, 1945, in Wyatt Missouri. He retired Custodian and Bus Driver from Covert Public Schools.  He was a pastor of Saint Paul Church of God in Christ.

Paul is survived by his five sons, Paul (Sara) McCoy Jr. of Berrien Springs, MI, Stefan (Khristen) McCoy of Ann Arbor, MI, Patrick McCoy, Derek (Shalonda) McCoy of Kalamazoo MI, Eric (Altamese) McCoy of Covert, MI.  Eight daughters, Anna Lisa Johnson, Cynthia McCoy, Regina (Harry) Childress, Dezirae Graham all of Kalamazoo, MI.  Serena Hines of Benton Harbor, MI, Tekieliah (Damon) Brown of Grovetown, GA, Maryellen Allen of Grand Rapids, MI, Samantha (Dontay) Smith of Ypsilanti, MI.

He is survived by 43 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Attorney Robert (Pam) McCoy, Bishop Calvin (Wilona) McCoy, Pastor Steven (Patricia) McCoy.  Seven sisters, Rosie (Edward) Hudson, Missionary Ruthie Haralson, Annie Queen (Anthony) Rolling, Virgie (Michael) Rollins and Missionary Darlene McCoy, Missionary Katie McCoy, Helena Allen:a host of  nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Robbins Brothers Funeral Home, Benton Harbor.
