Robert Willis

Robert was born October 14, 1938 in Chicago, Ill. to Catherine and Snowden Willis. Robert is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Kenneth and Godfrey.
Robert was affectionately known as “Sonny” to his family. He attended Englewood High School in Chicago. After high school, he was employed by the United States Postal Service. He went on to become a firefighter with the Chicago Fire Department, his many duties with them was scuba diver, forensic photograph as well as fighting fires.
He leaves to cherish his memories; two sisters Marlene and Sandra; four children; Annette, Kenneth, (Salaam), Nicole, Robert Jr.; ten grandchildren; Letwaon, Darren, Kalaiah, Cameron, Kenneth, Keith, Karen, Monte, Jaden, Aiden; and seven great-grandchildren. He loved to visit with his family in Benton Harbor and especially his beloved cousin Beverly Clark and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
