Kevin C. Green, 48, formerly of Berrien Springs, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 at his home in Hartford.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00 P.M. Tuesday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Dr. J.O. Hosler officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to cover expenses. Kevin was born October 20, 1968 in St. Joseph to Kenneth & Justine (Meade) Green. He graduated from Berrien Springs High School, Class of 1987, where he played football on the JV & Varsity team. He was a member of the team, #52, who went to the semi-finals at Hillsdale College in 1986. Kevin was employed at various Construction Companies in the Berrien County area. He was an avid football fan who rooted for the Dallas Cowboys, and enjoyed playing pool.
Kevin is survived by his mother & father Justine & Tim Allen; his brother T.J. Allen of Berrien Springs; sister-in-law Esther Green of Coloma; nephew & nieces-Trevor, Alyssa & Miranda Green; and several aunts, uncles & cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth R. Green in 2012 and his brother Keith R. Green in 2006.
