Marlin Jasper Weaver Sr., 96, of Grayling, MI passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph, MI.
Born June 24, 1920 in Buchanan, MI to Noah and Grace (Hamilton) Weaver. He was a WWII Navy Veteran, member of VFW/American Legion /Masonic Lodge.
Marlin is survived by his sons, James M. Weaver of Palm Bay, FL, Marlin J “Red” Weaver Jr of Frederic, MI, Michael “Rusty” Weaver of Grayling, MI; daughters, Marla Bandurski of Bridgman, MI, Marlie Westervelt of FL, Myra Portorelli of Irving, NY; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Grace; first wife, Helen Wallace; second wife, Beaulah “Ernie” Armstrong.
A funeral service for Marlin will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Visitation 11 am to 1 pm prior to the service.
