Richard “Rick” Tingley, of South Bend, IN, passed away at home on Jan 22, 2023 after an extended struggle with cancer. He was born to Richard and Ruby Tingley on Sept 6,1966. His father preceded him in death.
He is survived by his mother, Ruby; his sisters, Annette (Rick) Ernsperger, Georgia (John) Todd, and Helen (Ron) Messer; and his daughter, Torey; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Rick spent his early years and high school life in Michigan City, IN. He lived and worked in Elkhart, IN working in the RV industry for a short time, but most of his working life was in HVAC. Later in life he lived in Niles, MI and then ultimately in South Bend.
Rick enjoyed drawing, listening to music, working puzzles and playing video games as well as spending time with his family and friends.
