Kathleen “Nee Nee” Mitchell, 61, of Benton Harbor died on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at her home.
Services celebrating her life will be held at Noon on Fri day, March 29, at the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Benton Township with Pastor Adrian Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Crystal Springs Cemetery. Please share memories or messages at www.florin.net.
Kathleen was born on May 13, 1962, in Benton Harbor to Theodore and Rosie Mitchell. She was employed as a nurse’s aid for over 30 years and most recently at Whitcomb Tower. Kathleen was an assistant and USACR minister at the Greater Grace Church in Benton Township where she was a member. She enjoyed rolling skating and communicating with her friends. Kathleen was a loving and caring individual who had a giving spirit towards other people. She was a dynamic person that cared for people in anything that they were going through.
Her family includes her sisters, Jacqueline (Robert) White of Benton Harbor and Donna (Eric) Miller of Chesapeake, VA.; her brother, Theodore I. Mitchell of Hope Mills, NC. and a host of nieces and nephews.
