Roberta Lynn Simpson, 60, of Covert, MI, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024, surrounded by family.
Roberta was born on January 28, 1964, in St. Joseph MI. On February 28, 1991, she married the love of her life, Donald Simpson, in St. Joseph, MI. Most of her adult life, she worked as a clerical administrative assistant at Palisades Nuclear Plant in Covert, MI.
Family and friends enjoyed spending time with Roberta. They loved her sense of humor, feistiness, she was caring, strong and everyone who met her loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Simpson; brother, Tracy (Rachel) Roberts; Nieces Abby Roberts and Ashleigh Roberts; Great Nieces Raegan Lee Peterek and Hazel-Grace Munoz; Janice (Prentiss) Allison, Darrell Simpson of Arcola, MS; Luretha Williams; Denise Lewis; Steve Simpson of Chicago, IL; Warren Simpson; Shawn Terrell Wooten of South Haven, MI; Joyce (Charles) Peterson of Bangor, MI; Deborah Simpson; Devonte Wooten of Kalamazoo, MI; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Roberta is preceded in death by her mother and father, Marilyn Roberts and Carl Roberts.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 10:00 am, with the funeral proceeding at 11:00 am at Gospel Tabernacle MB Church, 32605 M-140, Covert, MI. Burial will take place at a later date at North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma, MI. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan, MI.
