Stacey “Sam” Camargo-Chavez, 58, of Covert, MI, passed away on Wednesday – July 10, 2024 at her residence. Stacey was born on November 6, 1965 in St. Joseph, MI, to the late Theodore and LaVerne (Lucker) Leng. She was a 1983 graduate of Lakeshore High School. Stacey loved spending time with her family and friends, especially for holidays or yearly family reunions. She was a mother to not only her sons, but her son’s friends and her nephews too. She also dearly loved her grandchildren and great-nieces and nephews. She enjoyed sitting outside listening to music and going out to concerts and shows.
Stacey is survived by two sons – Gage (Jennifer) Leng of Benton Harbor and Sabastian Chavez of Covert, MI; two grandchildren – Juanita Marie Goben and Samantha JJ Leng; brothers Brett Leng of Niles, MI and Steven (Vicki) Leng of Union, MI. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings – Vicki Kettlehut-Jackson, Pamela Kettlehut and Guy Leng.
