Harry D. Houck, of Galien, Michigan, passed away on July 23, 2024. Born in Anniston, Alabama on October 9, 1948, Harry spent the majority of his life in Galien, where he contributed to his community through his work. Harry was an integral part of the community, known for his dedication, hard work, and kindness.

Harry was the proud owner of HD Scrap Hauling, a clean-up service he founded and managed until his retirement. His work ethic and commitment to his business helped shape the Galien community for the better part of 45 years. His impact extended beyond his work, touching the lives of those around him. On November 11, 1970, Harry married Penny, his partner in life, and together they raised four wonderful children.

Harry is survived by his wife, Penny, and their children Rachel Roberts, Scott Houck, Greg Houck, and Adam Houck. He is also remembered by grandchildren, numerous friends and neighbors who experienced his warmth and generosity. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Thelma Houck. His spirit carries on in the memories and stories shared by those who knew him best.
