About 15 minutes later, the second chase began when Lake County deputies saw the same SUV heading west on I-94 near the Indiana-Michigan state line. Williams crashed into a semi-trailer and ran away from the SUV into some nearby woods, but he was taken into custody a short time later.

President-elect Trump proposing end of Daylight Savings Time

We “spring forward” and “fall back,” but if President-elect Donald Trump has his way we’ll spend the entire year sitting in one place. Posting on social media over the weekend, Trump said “The Republican Party will use its best efforts to eliminate Daylight Saving Time.” It’s not a new idea; a bipartisan bill named the Sunshine Protection Act would make daylight saving time permanent but is currently stalled on Capitol Hill. Daylight Saving Time was first put into place as a wartime measure in 1942.
