Carol Sanders, 67, of Bridgman passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 9, 2026.
There will be a gathering for family and friends on Saturday, February 14th at 1:00pm in a private room at Coach’s Bar and Grill, 2528 West Glenlord Rd., Stevensville, MI 49127. Carol was born on January 21, 1959 in Jamestown, NY to Edward and Joanne “Sue” Freeman. Carol graduated from Jamestown High School in 1977 and from the State University of New York at Oneonta with a BS in Dietetics in 1981. Carol worked in a variety of healthcare settings in New York and Michigan providing excellent nutrition care to many. Carol loved her family and her dogs. She loved spending time at her family’s cottage on Chautauqua Lake and she loved cheering on the Buffalo Bills.
Carol is survived by daughters: Hanna Sanders and Sara Sanders; her parents: Ed and Sue Freeman and her brother, Jim (Shirley) Freeman. She is also survived by two stepchildren, Melissa Sanders and Wesley Sanders, and by several cousins, nieces and a nephew.
Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
