
Laurie Ann Lorren, 68 of Bangor passed away on April 28, 2026. Born on March 24, 1958 in South Haven to Howard Hill and Dorothy Carr.
Laurie is survived by her daughters; Amy (Jonathan Vigansky) Lorren, Samantha Lorren, two grandsons and 4 great grandchildren and her parents Howard Hill and Dorothy Carr. She is also survived by sister Vicky Akres and brother Steve Hill.
She is preceded in death by her brother Doug Hill.
Laurie graduated from L.C. Mohr High School. She was very active playing sports throughout her life. She played tennis, softball, basketball and she bowled. In her later years Laurie played softball with her work team at Inveys and had a great time. Laurie was a very independent and caring woman who was always there for others, willing to lend a helping hand. She enjoyed gardening and cooking and could make something delicious out of nothing at all. The most important thing to Laurie was family and getting to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She will be forever missed.
Visitation for Laurie will be held on Tuesday May 12, 2026 at Filbrandt Chapel, 1076 S. Bailey Ave, South Haven, Michigan 49090 from 12 p.m. until the time of her Memorial Service at 1 p.m. Pastor Eric Jarvis will officiate. Laurie will be laid to rest at Stephenson Cemetery.
