Jerry Duane Springer, age 62, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026 with his family by his side.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 13 at 11:00 am at Filbrandt Chapel, 1076 S. Bailey, South Haven, 49090. A Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 – 11:00 am.
Jerry was born on November 13, 1963 in Benton Harbor, MI to W G and Louise (Mahoney) Springer. He was the youngest of four siblings. Jerry married the love of his life, Debbie Sue Webb in 1982, and had three daughters, Mary, Brandy, and Valerie. Jerry dedicated his life to providing and protecting his family. He was always there to listen, give advice, a shoulder to cry on, hugs, or tell a joke.
Jerry was never one to sugarcoat anything. He liked the occasional baseball game, grilling out, swimming, sunsets, playing cards and watching Star Trek.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, W G and Louise and sisters, Patricia Keen and Mary Rich.
Jerry is survived by his sister, Linda (Clifford) Gilliland; wife, Debbie; daughters, Mary (Dave) Miller, Brandy Cook, and Valerie (Josh) Rolland; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Madison, Destini, Bryce, Kensley, Wyatt, and Rayanne; two great-grandchildren, Morgan and Brennen; as well as man nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
