ureatha Fleming, 98 of Benton Harbor went home to be with the Lord on September 9, 2017 at the Orchard Grove Nursing and Rehab, Benton Harbor.
Jureatha was born September 17, 1918 to the late George and Essie Foster in Morrilton, Ark and she attended high school there. Jureatha later met and married Emerson Fleming and to this union a daughter, Pauline was born. She was a member of the Church of God in Christ #2, under the leadership Elder John H. McCoy for 38 years. Jureatha was a Sunday School Secretary for 32 years and later served as the food pantry supervisor and also sang in the adult choir.
Jureatha leaves to mourn, her daughter, Pauline Ford; sister, Essie Powell; brother, William Foster of Morrilton, Ark; grandsons, Anthony Sulton and Irvin Sulton of Benton Harbor and Rodney Sulton of California; great granddaughters, Toni Sulton and Taylor Wells of Dallas; great grandsons, Kenneth Sulton, Quincy Sulton and Jaylen Sulton of Benton Harbor; a host of family and friends.
Jureatha was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Emerson Fleming; 4 sisters; 4 brothers. Jureatha will be greatly missed.
