Arthur was born on July 27, 1956 to the union of Arthur Edward Swanigan Sr. and Lena Mae Swanigan at Mercy Hospital in Benton Harbor Michigan.
He attended Benthon Harbor Highschool, received his Diploma in 1974 and later attended Lansing Community College.
Arthur relocated to Dallas Texas in 1984, Where he worked as a Security Professional for many years until he retired in 2015.
Arthur is survived by mother, Lena Swanigan of Benton Harbor Mi – wife Gloria Swanigan of Dallas Tx –
daughter, Janelle Davis-Hollyfield of Hammond In – sons, Jermaine (Andrea) Huddleston of Fort Wayne In.
Shnaren Parker of South Carolina – Arthur Armex Jones of Benton Harbor, Mi.. stepdaughter Yomica Edwards and stepson Lacoy Suggs of Nashville Tn.
Sisters: Merilyn Isom, Melanie Marlow Both of Benton Harbor Mich. Mary Ann (Sammie) Rodgers, and Vanessa Swanigan Both of Lansing Mich.
S. Renee’ Swanigan of Indianapolis, Indiana. Brother Eddie (Gwen) Swanigan of St. Joseph Mich.
eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and greats also cousins, relatives and friends.,
Arthur was preceded in death by his Father, Arthur E. Swanigan Sr. – Brother, Ivan Duane (pep) Swanigan also both maternal and paternal grandparents.
