Jerrold Douglas Bookout, age 67, of Three Oaks, passed away peacefully, Monday, February 15, 2016 in his home.
Jerry was born May 26, 1948 in Coloma, Michigan, the son of Donald and Inez (Small) Bookout.
Jerry is survived by his longtime companion Linda King; his children: Tim (Mishelle) Bookout, Jon Bookout, Kathy Bookout; his grandchild Nate; Linda’s children: Matthew King, Joseph King; his sister Sherry (Eldon) Geyer; and his half-brother Bob Bookout.
Throughout Jerry’s career, he worked as a Die Cast Manager and Supervisor. Jerry will be remembered for his passion for flying his R/C Airplanes and Helicopters. He will also be remembered for his love of his animals and his Corvette, but especially the love he had for his family. Jerry will be greatly missed.
Family and friends will gather Friday, February 19, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 P.M. at Pobocik Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 106 Ash Street East, Three Oaks, Michigan 49128.
The Reverend Sherri Swanson will be officiating.
A private family Graveside Service will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Three Oaks Township, Michigan immediately following the Funeral Service.
The family prefers memorial contributions be made in Jerry’s memory to: Animal Lovers Inc., P.O. Box 223, Three Oaks, Michigan 49128.
