Quayshawn J. Henry, 23 of Mishawaka formerly of Benton Harbor passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at home. A service celebrating his life will be held Friday, February 26 at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, Benton Harbor. The visitation begins at 10 a.m. followed by the funeral at 11. Quayshawn was born March 10, 1992 in St. Joseph, the son of Lashon Henry and John Woodson and he was employed at Archway Industrial in South Bend. Quayshawn enjoyed spending time with his son, Tayshawn Henry, family and his close friend and cousin Deleisha Rice. He loved music, dancing and traveling.
Quayshawn is survived by his mother, Lashon Henry of Benton Harbor; father, John Woodson of Detroit; son, Tayshawn Henry of Benton Harbor; brothers, Clifton Anthony Jr, Marshawn Henry, Keyshawn Henry and Ronald Perry III all of Benton Harbor; aunts, Lakeytta Henry of Milwaukee, Dawana Otis of Irvington, TX, Kandi McCall of Benton Harbor and Ntozake Cooper of Benton Harbor; uncles, Lemart Roberts of Benton Harborand Marcus Brown of Benton Harbor; wife, Sherry Henry of Benton Harbor; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Quayshawn was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Louise Henry and maternal great-grandmother, Lula Mae Fallon; aunt, Earlene Moorehead.
