Marjorie Mae Dunlop, 91, of Coloma passed away February 27, 2016 at Hanson Hospice Center.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will gather privately for a memorial service at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Marjorie may be made to the Coloma Public Library, North Berrien Senior Center, or Sarett Nature Center.
Marjorie was born June 2, 1924 in South Lyon, Michigan to Orla and Beatrice (Winters) Wise. She married Bryce Dunlop in 1947 and resided in Three Oaks, Michigan. In 1957, they moved to Coloma, Michigan. Marjorie taught school in Three Oaks and later in Coloma, retiring in 1984. Marjorie loved cruising and together she and Bryce made 32 cruises in their lifetime, most of them being to Alaska. Marjorie loved her family and cherished the time they spent together.
Marjorie is survived by her husband Bryce, three sons Dr. Bryan Dunlop of Manistee, Michigan, Richard (Renee) Dunlop of Flint, Michigan, and James (Vicki) Dunlop of Coloma, Michigan. Also surviving are three grandchildren Dr. Cristina (Dr. Ming) Dunlop, Jeffrey (Holly) Dunlop and Ryan (Emily) Dunlop and eight great grandchildren Broden, Suzannah, and Thea Chien and Bryce, Caroline, Eli, Brynnley, and Titus Dunlop.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents Orla and Beatrice Wise, her brother Bernard Wise, and her granddaughter Laura Dunlop.
