Andrew James Bucksbarg, 50, of Three Oaks, MI passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sommerfeld Chapel – 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, MI.
Andrew was born on April 24, 1968 in Valparaiso, IN to Gerald and Judith (Loftus) Bucksbarg. He was a graduate of River Valley High School in 1987; received his Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University at the School of Music and his Master’s Degree from the California Institute of the Arts in Multi Media Studies. Andrew was a working artist and entrepreneur.
Andrew is survived by his parents – Gerald and Judith Bucksbarg of Three Oaks; brothers – John Bucksbarg of Chesterton, IN, and Matthew Bucksbarg of Valparaiso, IN; sisters – Susan (Harold) Luhrsen of Spartanburg, SC, Lynn (Todd) Bicker of Bridgman, MI, Jenny Bucksbarg of Oxford, MS, Megan (Joe) Bailey of Mason, OH and Jodie Bucksbarg of Portage, IN; three nieces and five nephews; and his beloved cat Muppet.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on Friday, August 31, 11:00am, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church – 5791 Sawyer Rd., Sawyer, MI, with Pastor Randy Lett officiating.
